Analytics are optional.
Sixth Wall Society uses Google Analytics only when you choose “Accept analytics.” If you decline, the Google Analytics script is not loaded and analytics cookies are not placed on your device.
What is collected
A view of the wall, not of you.
When analytics are accepted, we receive aggregated information such as pages and stories viewed, approximate location, referring website, and general browser or device information. We do not use advertising features, personalised advertising or a user ID, and we do not ask Google Analytics to collect names or email addresses.
Why
To understand what gets read.
Analytics help us see which stories find readers, how people discover the collection and whether the site works well across different devices. The legal basis for this optional processing is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Your choice
Change your mind whenever you like.
Use “Privacy choices” in the footer to accept, decline or change your analytics preference. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection and removes Sixth Wall Society’s Google Analytics cookies from this browser where possible.
Who processes the data?
Google provides the analytics service and may process analytics data on our behalf. You can read Google’s privacy policy and information about safeguarding Analytics data.
